Kita And The Hat - Dance Music Duo
Sometimes, things happen that you really don't want to happen. Sometimes, people meet people who change their lives forever after that thing that really should never have happened, happened. Sometimes, fate happens. Welcome to Kita & The Hat.
This Dance Music duo consist of Kita, an experienced clubber and ideologist, and The Hat, who since the early 90's has moved through music technology with the times.
The Hat is a DJ, producer, remixer who has had success with previous alias' Humungo 242 (remixing for Pink, Uncle 22, DJ Trust, as well as producing tracks played by James Zabiela), and Samian Pourne (DJing on clubzoneradio.co.uk). He shared Gemini belt-drive decks from the age of 14 with his 11 year old bro, spent the 90's progressing through the musical journey of Old Skool, Hardcore, Jungle, Drum n Bass, Dance, House, Speed Garage and Trance .... finally settled into the Progressive House scene (with a pair of Technics 1200's), spending a small mortgage on records, trying to make it as a Prog DJ. DJ'd at a number of venues before settling into a ‘production role' which he now occupies with Kita, and his home studio.
